The Brief

Develop a social-first campaign to support the first ever edition of the McDonald's All American Alumni Game, a 3v3 matchup between former McDonald's All American stars at Rucker Park.

The Idea

Still Got It. A campaign rooted in each player's return to the court, paying off the message that no matter how long it's been, when you're a McDonald's All American, the game is forever.

In our hero asset, Brandon Jennings played a game of H.O.R.S.E. against his 17 year old self at the 2008 McDonald's All American Game.

Slam Covers

SLAM Magazine covers are among the most iconic visuals in basketball. To help our alumni tap back into their youthful swag, we put each player's high school self on their very own SLAM cover.

Media publication style content gave each player their own storyline in the lead up to the game.

Ending The Goat Debate

To show the world just how deep our alumni ties go, we used a billboard in the Mecca of Advertising to make a statement only McDonald's could make.

It doesn't matter if you're on Team Jordan or Team LeBron. There's one thing you can't argue. The GOAT is a McDonald's All American Alumni.
